Faroe landscapes are comprised of fantastic fjords, rugged steep cliffs, crashing waves on the Atlantic coastline, and traditional villages. With the constantly changing weather conditions you can experience different seasons on the same day, which can present dramatic light with endless opportunities to capture beautiful images. Your guides know how to navigate the ever-changing weather, getting you to terrific locations.
The Faroe Islands are comprised of eighteen islands lying about half-way between Norway and Iceland. Since 1948 Faroe has been a self-governing nation under the Kingdom of Denmark (however they are not members of the European Union). The first known settlers are thought to be Irish Monks. Today 90% of the exports come from fishing, and although tourism is growing tourists are few and far between. You will appreciate this fact in the tranquility of being able to photograph in this remote region.
